Director, Directorate of General Studies

I welcome you all to the Directorate of General Studies at Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti. The Directorate plays a pivotal role in shaping well-rounded graduates through its diverse academic programs and dedicated to providing a robust foundation in general studies, which enhances critical thinking, communication skills, and ethical reasoning across disciplines. The intellectual growth of students, equipping them with essential tools for real-world challenges are our priority.

In addition to academic excellence, the Directorate actively promotes cultural, moral, and social values among students. This initiative aims to foster a deeper understanding of Nigeria’s rich heritage while cultivating a sense of responsibility and civic engagement.

Moreover, we are devoted to employing innovative pedagogical methodologies and resources that effectively engage students. Faculty members are meticulously selected for their expertise and unwavering commitment to student success, ensuring that the educational experience is both enlightening and pleasurable.
